I consider the novel Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000 to be a masterpiece of science fiction literature. While Part III may not quite measure up to the first two installments, the novel as a whole remains one of my
all-time favorites.
My passion for strategy games was ignited by the iconic series Commandos (1997) and Ranger (1998), developed by the renowned Georgi Minizov, also known as George M. George. These games have greatly influenced my creative process and have helped me develop a keen eye for strategy and tactics.
Additionally, I am an avid collector of classic video games and own a SEGA Mega Drive system, along with my four favorite war games: Red Zone, After Burner II, Dune, and Herzog Zwei. I find these games to be a perfect complement to the strategy game books and novels I enjoyed when i was younger.
It is the strategic nature and tactical depth of Dune and Herzog Zwei that specifically motivated me to create a nostalgic scene that captures the essence of my gaming memories. I am proud to present this original work, inspired by the timeless classics that have shaped my creative vision.

The artwork presents a post-apocalyptic scene inspired by the 1979–1980 anime series Mobile Suit Gundam (機動戦士ガンダム / Kidō Senshi Gandamu).
A Gundam gazing into the distance at a passing asteroid, capturing a sense of isolation and aftermath.
The composition focuses more on atmosphere than story, with a color palette dominated by light and dark blue tones. The background is filled with stars, enhancing the vast, cold feeling of space.
Plot - It is the year 0079 of the Universal Century. A war has broken out between the Principality of Zeon, a space colony that wants independence, and the Earth Federation.
A teenage boy has to pilot the Federation's new secret weapon when the space colony in which he lives is attacked by Zeon mobile suits, gigantic robots piloted by humans. That new secret weapon is called the Gundam, a far more powerful mobile suit. The story follows Amuro Ray and many other civilians around his age who have to take over a Federation spaceship and become soldiers in order to survive the war against Zeon's forces throughout the One Year War.

Based on and Inspired by the masterpiece - 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Short plot - The sky burns red as a colossal sphere hovers above the city.
The city glows under the light, caught between unease and the glowing fragments.
A moment suspended between human wonder and cosmic mystery, where technology, destiny and the unknown meet under the horizon.
Drawing note;
Normally it takes me around 10 hours to draw something like this, but this one came together in just 2-3. I used techniques and brush sets I'd already figured out in past drawings, so everything clicked faster than usual. Once the idea was clear, the vision and the inspiration lined up, and the whole piece came together way smoother than expected.
